The Story
It started with a bar, a firepit, and the kind of conversations that happen when good people get together with nowhere to be.
Est. 2015
The Stag's Head Tavern wasn't built overnight. Starting in 2015, Mark Giacomin set out to create something real — a proper gathering place, built with his own hands, week by week and month by month, until it became exactly what it is today.
It's a backyard bar, yes — but it's also a community. Neighbors pull up stools. Friends stop by. Conversations start around the firepit and end up going places nobody expected. That's always been the spirit of the Stag's Head.
How It Became a Podcast
SHT Talk grew out of the conversations Mark was already having — with his neighbor Dave Nelson, with friends, with whoever happened to be around. The kind of talk that's honest, funny, and completely unfiltered.
Someone suggested putting a mic in the room. Turns out, people wanted to listen.
The podcast is a direct extension of the tavern — same energy, same people, same no-BS approach to whatever's on everyone's mind. Pull up a stool and join the conversation.
The Brand
SHT Talk is more than a podcast — it's the voice of the Stag's Head Tavern and everything it stands for. Real people. Real talk. A place where you don't have to filter yourself.
Mark built the tavern. The community built the brand. And now it's yours to be a part of — wherever you listen.
